Pickit™, giving eyes to robots - enabling automated bin picking, pallet unloading, machine loading and assembly.
Our 3D vision system automatically detects the exact 3D position, orientation, and dimensions of the products you want to be picked. Pickit™ finds overlapping products of varying sizes, all colors matte and glossy and all materials and keeps working even in changing and poor light conditions.

Love the tutorials! And I'm currently consulting one of your local integration partners in Denmark in regards to a Pickit 3D solution. Does your system allow for live part type recognition in a mixed part scenario, either with the use of a multi purpose grabbing tool or a dual grabber setup specific for each part?

How does it handle these parts standing on the flange end?
Pickit supports multiple strategies to increase the possibility of an object being pickable and avoid collisions (multiple pick points, symmetry axes, flexible pick orientation). It increases the success rate of picking parts that are located in challenging places. Other than that, a good design of the gripper is also crucial.
This is great stuff. Did you do any more tutorials? I cannot seem to find any other than this first one.

i integrade Fanucs 3D vision bin picking. what i found helpfull is to splitt this into 2 seperate process. First one fast 3d bin shot for picking anything, vector dosent matter so you can have vision times under 2 seconds, then a faster 1 second 2d shot for rotation control of the picked part so you can drop it in the angle as you needed. If you really need fast cycle times you can use this with two robots, one 3d picks the other robot/scara makes the 2d and places But i like how your system works with all brands cheers :)
is this gripper' type suction gripper?
Thanks for your question! The gripper is magnetic, and the magnet is pneumatically activated (compressed air is used to enable/disable the magnet)

@@kkk-qm5li to put it simply, it moves an internal magnet up and down. A few suppliers to mention just for your reference: Magswitch, Goudsmit, IXTUR.
